CyberDefenses Inc is seeking a Senior System Analyst III to serve as a senior Enterprise Network Applications Team (ENAT) subject matter expert (SME) for the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama.  The person in this position provides application management and troubleshooting for all 26 NOS systems that monitor and/or manage United States Air Force (USAF) circuits, network devices, computers, and applications.  As team lead, the person supports actions needed to guarantee healthy system performance using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products including Solarwinds, Splunk, e-Health, Cacti, and NetQoS. This position is subject to up to 5% travel.

Demonstrates highly technical expertise in systems sustainment, application development, engineering processes, network/system design, and product selection; evaluation of system architecture and design alternatives to meet user requirements 

Required: Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret and SolarWinds Certified Professional 

Required: DoD 8570 Certifications 

Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT-I) Certification: Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Global Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), Global Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC) or Security+ (Security+ preferred) 

Computer Network Defense (CND) Certification – CND-IS: Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (CEH preferred) 
Required:  Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 2-4 years of experience or 7-10 years' experience providing enterprise monitoring, network performance management, capacity analysis and team leadership while ensuring mission success in support of DoD unclassified/classified networking environments  
Critical Job Elements: 
  1. Act as the Subject Matter Expert for network applications used in the 26 NOS; ensure all support is provided professionally 100% of the time; ensure all support is accomplished IAW applicable checklists and is documented in Remedy or as otherwise directed, 95% of the time; manage, configure and administer all assigned applications and application appliances; manage and administer all applications/application appliances without the assistance from other team members for normal operations 95% of the time; provide guidance and training to other team members as needed 95% of the time in support of the United States Air Force’s (USAF) mission while maintaining 99.8% uptime per Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements 
  1. Develop and maintain work-related documentation (checklists, work tickets, change requests, training material, project test results) following USAF and 26 NOS-provided formats 100% of the time, ensuring 100% accuracy, and meeting deadlines for each delivered item 97% of the time. Review 10% of checklists on a monthly basis and provide updates as necessary       
  1. Provide technical support for project customers/partners of the 26 NOS; ensure project is approved by 26 NOS leadership and CDI Task Lead; ensure support is provided professionally 100% of the time; ensure support is documented accurately and accomplished within deadlines 95% of the time  
  1. Apply continuous process improvement principles and techniques in the development of added-value proposals relevant to the Client's mission and business practices.  Using group creativity techniques such as brainstorming, lead the Enterprise Network Applications Team in generating a minimum of two added-value proposals per 12 month period.  Work with leadership and Client representatives to ensure proposals are executable, fill a gap in the 26 NOS’ mission capability, and support the cyber-security mission of the 26 NOS   
  1. Acquire certifications as required by DoD Directive 8570 and the 26 NOS within 6 months of being assigned to this position, and maintain 100% compliance throughout assignment by actively participating in the Continuing Education programs as required per certification                                      
  1. Accurately record hours worked in CDI’s ADP time accounting system each day worked or as otherwise directed by CDI Leadership, with 100% compliance, and provide appropriate inputs to the Weekly and Monthly Activity Reports on time as directed by Task Lead and/or Team Lead, with 100% compliance    
  1. Provide technical expertise in the area of enterprise monitoring, performance analysis, capacity analysis, and provide recommendations on remediation and/or corrective action to maximize and maintain required service levels and performance expectations  
  1. Closely work with the organizational leadership, industry engineers, and managers to complete assigned tasks   
  1. Work with minimum direction when providing technical services based upon reports generated by the advanced toolset                               
  1. Improve the ENAT operating environment and provide added-value proposals to the Client which improves the capability of the Client to provide mission assurance and cyber security to the USAF
